Structure of Banana Tree
The Banana Plant grows corm-like structure. They are tall and fair sturdy, and its trunk looks like a false stem. Indias crucial point to export bananas is the Middle-East Countries. According to 2017, trade analysis, India exported bananas worth USD 48 million to Middle-East Countries. Among the buyers, United Arab Emirates stood on the top, and its share value is 31.58%. Oman stood at second position and its share value is 19.68%. Saudi Arabia and Iran are at third and fourth positions. Saudi Arabia share value is 12.34% and Iran share value is 11.79%. Kuwait is in fifth place, and its share value is 8.98% of bananas exports from India in 2017.
